Le restaurant La Mer à Porto vous promet une sélection de poisson frais cuit au feu de bois.Avant première : la réservation. J'appelle pour réserver à 9h30 car à Porto la visite des calanques de Piana est organisée au coucher du soleil car cela permet d'avoir une lumière exceptionnelle. Retour prévu à 21, l'idée état de se changer. La personne qui me répond me dit "pas plus tard que 21h00 !" Où a-t-on vu cela en été en Corse ?Ensuite le poisson n'est pas cuit au feu de bois du tout et en plus il est trop cuit (à 8€ les 100 g c'est tout de même dommage, à noter qu'il n'est pas pesé devant vous)Il arrive ensuite entier et est décortiqué avant de vous être servi. Every once in a while, you stumble onto a great restaurant La Mer!! While hiking from village to village on the island of Corscia, we ended up in Porto for two evenings. At the recommendation of the staff at Hotel Costa Rossa, we grabbed...our friends and headed to La Mer. The restaurant is located at the end of the waterfront, and on the second level of a two story building. Dining is outside, and luckily we were seated at the last table on the outside balcony. We went here thanks to the recommendation of tourist guide (Petit Futé that was telling good things about the place, food and service. Actually mentioning that it was the place to go in Porto. This changed a lot since then. The place has not changed,...and for sure it's the best location in town, but it deserves much more than this. First the menu: you could expect sea food and local fish ... not a lot of choice here ... Second the service: not professional, not taking care, ... I'm sure that they can bring it up to the former level but need more attention from the owner to fulfill the tables that were desperately empty ...
what a pity that such a pleasant « spot » facing the Genoa Tower of Porto and the sunset is so poorly highlighted. The quality of the service is very mediocre and the classic pizzas without any more...For example: in response to the question “what would you like to drink at the aperitif”, the answer of the waitress: “everything you want”: request (among other things): a mojito but no cocktails...I do not recommend this restaurant at all! unfortunately we had a very unsatisfactory stay. the pizza was left in cheese and I even found a piece of aluminum foil on mine. but the worst was the service: the two waitresses were rude and made us feel something different than welcome. we will. laughing in the future about this evening as it was definitiv unforgettable, but not on a good wise.
Nous avons dîné à la Mer au mois d'avril de cette année. Le plat était divin, nous avons pris le poisson pêché du jour, du chapon (rascasse rouge). C'était délicieux ! Seul bémol le prix... à raison de 8€ les 100g environ, l'addition est vite salée et il est difficile de ne manger que cela lorsque l'on partage...
