Restaurant La Place

We found this place through Trip Advisor. It is a good value to be near the heart of it all (near Louvre, Notre Dame erc). There is a lot of construction so navigating around the streets was a bit confusing. However there wasn't any construction noise to bother us and there will be a beautiful garden dedicated to Nelson Mandela when finished.The room was nicely arranged with a modern bath (it is a little like that commercial where it can be hard to figure out how to operate the shower). We had a lot of luggage so it felt a bit cramped for a family of three but we felt it was a good value.

A nice hotel at a great location and while staff is helpful and friendly I cannot recommend it as the air conditioning does not work - AT ALL. Unless you enjoy sleeping with temperatures in the low 20 C do not go there. I was offered a diferent room where I could at least open a window so I did exchange unbearable heat against noise....well not what I was looking for.

A good restaurant offering a correct number of dishes. A menu of the day that changes regularly and a very warm and efficient service. Small flat, the interior room is very noisy when there is a little world.

Very good value quality price. I used to just have a drink. But then I had dinner with friends and it was great from the dessert dish. Bravo Reserva una mesa ahora

Very good restaurant overlooking the Seine. Very good piece of butcher with excellent pepper sauce, very good price. I recommend

We ate well unfortunately I wanted to taste tuna tartar but there were no more. A warm welcome and speed of service. Thank you.
