This restaurant is inside one of the small town 's very old timber frame houses; a most quaint location in an already impossibly picturesque old village center that has won prizes as a National Heritage site. The rooms are small and the ceilings lined with dark and genuine wooden beams that are obviously very old and weathered no fear though, the building has been carefully and authentically restaured and renovated. We were there with a group of 13 no bad luck there; we were seated in one of the separate rooms, feeling as if we had been dropped into a film studio decked out for a historical movie of feudal times; heavy antique cabinets in the entrance area, sturdy wooden doors with handcraft...
Ich kann einige negative Kommentare über die Portionen etc. überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Die Portionen sind gross und vor allem gibt es auch genügend Fleisch. Ein Tagesmenü (Rindsmedaillon mit Pommes und Gemüse) für CHF 19.50 ist einfach unschlagbar. Auch die Röstis sind echt der Hammer und ein Besuch wert. Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste Mal.
Wir waren mit 4 Thais Mittagessen und soviel Flexibilität habe ich in einem Restaurant noch selten erlebt. Für 4 Personen wurden 3 Teller bestellt und die 3 Essen wurden in kleinen Pfannen aufgeteilt und präsentiert, wie in Thailand. Nebenbei muss noch die gute Qualität und die freundliche Bedienung erwähnt werden.EINFACH SUPER!
Gutes GeschäftsessenWir waren ca. 30 Leute und haben vorzügliches Fleisch gegessen, erst mit Kartoffelgratin, dann mit Pommes. Der gemischte Salat war gut und ausreichend, nur das Dessert, die Creme Caramel, war langweilig und nichts besonderes. Der Service war nett und speditiv. Wegen der guten Küche empfehlenswert!

Einmal im Jahr treffen wir uns Anfang des Jahres zu einem Abendessen. Nachdem wir bereits in vielen Lokalitäten waren, waren wir diesmal zum zweiten mal in einem Stübli in diesem Restaurant. Das Essen ist gut bürgerlich, mit schweizer Spezialitäten. Wir haben bereits für das nächste Jahr reserviert.
A very nice innkeeper who even calls back outside of his opening hours to take the reservation. So I got to know the beautiful restaurant with great service staff. Enjoyed the excellent food for the holidays would you like to come again?
Wir waren mit der Familie am Morgen für einen Kaffee da. Kellnerin extrem unfreundlich. Nicht anständig begrüsst, unfreundlich bedient und nie ein bitte auf ein Danke. Einfach nur schlecht. Nie wieder!
Ein kleines aber sehr gutes Restaurant. Sehr freundliches Personal, das Essen war einwandfrei. Preisleistung ist auch gut. War nicht das letzte mal dort.
