Had supper here when staying in Trois-Rivières for a conference. Quiet evening, not too many customers. Service was FANTASTIC... I believe the nice lady that served us was Nathalie. Everything served was great... 7$ martini, well-recommended bottle of red, steak for me, tartar for her, dessert platter. The only thing? My steak was a little too done, and Nathalie noticed and comped our dessert and coffee to compensate. Well done. Ambience was also very nice... Lounge, but not intrusive. I will stop here again!!
Really my review stands between poor and average. The setting, mood, and service was fantastic. We started with the home made chips and the brie-pesto bread loaf. Both entrees were well seasoned and prepared, but MUCH too salty. Then we ordered the New York steaks. The meat was tough. My spouse asked for medium, but the steak was rather well done and really hard to chew. Everything else in the plate was really nice, especially the mushroom sauce. So maybe we just made bad choices from the menu.
On the upside: the duck wings were tasty, as was the poutine.On the down side: We ordered a cocktail each, and there was no alcohol in them- and service was so bad there was nothing we could do about it before our appetizers came. The sauces were clearly from a packet- tasty, but if I wanted Knorr mushroom sauce, I could make it at home.Lastly, we had a stomach ache for a week after eating at Le Carlitos, so I don't think the food was very fresh.
Every year Paladin Labs (my company) enters a team in the Ride to Conquer Cancer, and every year a dozen of us descend on Carlito for dinner. We are tired, hungry, thirsty and need beer. They never disappoint us. We WILL be back again in 2018

Went here with a group. Two of us had the fish (basa and trout). They were both good. For the trout I enjoyed every mouthful. I would definitely get this again. I also ordered a Classique mohito and I found it not sweet/flavourful enough.
We enjoyed our pesto bread bowl, although the pesto was a bit salty. The linguine with creamy sun-dried tomato sauce was very good, and my partner had the Caesar salad. The staff were very attentive and helpful.
The menu is quite eclectic. Fusion type with an excellent choice and a fun atmosphere. younger generation with a great stand up bar for meeting people
Restaurant now called Maison de debauchery....food good, service fine, nice bar...great for young and old
