Very odd place and with a lady who seems to run the place and without a great customer manner.Service was not great not helped by the fact that the really nice waitress had to run everything by the lady manager and who was constantly telling the waitress what to do. Big menu choice which I always have suspicions of.The pizza I had was not great. Doubt the base was home made and the ingredients instead of being done in a pizza oven were obviously fried and then placed on top of the base and then the cheese was put on top and either placed in the oven or grill. Sorely our favorite and captrated Barbezieux restaurant. A large parking lot in front of the castle makes it easy to park its vehicle. A warm welcome, a generous and gourmet cuisine. A real pleasure. At each visit we come with the idea to taste the pancakes, but the dishes of the menu systematically divert us from our original idea. Because the dishes are more appetizing than the others. The only option is to come back to get the chance to taste all. Cargo pizza is also available. Don't hesitate, if you want to spend a good time the address is found.

We have had several positive experiences in this restaurant, but now it was very poor. Was it due to the fact it is winter and fresh products are more expensive? Might be, but the pizza's were prepared with canned vegetables with poor taste. What a shame. I prefer to pay extra for FRESH ingredients in winter. Please ban this practice in the future.

Restaurant where to sit and enjoy. Excellent traditional cuisine, warm welcome of the boss, very cosi atmosphere. I recommend it for a break in Barbezieux.
