We stopped here at 1.45 pm as a last resort for some lunch... it didn't look very special from the outside, but inside was clean and modern .. it was busy which on a weekday lunch time is always a good sign. The waiter ( it was only his first day ) was very smiley and efficient.. because we were late we just ordered 2 hamburgers... in fact when they arrived they were the nicest hamburgers we had had in a very longtime. It came with a generous and tasty salad and good chips.Well done !
the food was clearly premaid and the service lousy. For example I could not get service to pay my bill they were apparently too busy. I was in the end asked to go to the bar. And there they claimed my card was out of order they just keyed in the wrong code for credit/debit. All in all Very poor service.
Ate here a few times and found the food and service consistently good. Nothing too fancy though. I especially liked the accompaniments like the carrot puree and potato gratin. Wine is quite affordable as well.

Although the rules (you can't order from the bar, etc) from the grumpy barman are a bit weird, the food is good value, with good service, in a nicely decorated place. Excellent local wine.
