Restaurant Le Hurlevent

We drove from Ypres to Hertogenbosch and, as it was at lunchtime, were looking for a place to eat. We have decided that as we go from one country to another, why not throw into another country just for fun. It was good luck that we chose to stop at the Le Hurlevent restaurant. It is a nice restaurant and could not have been welcoming anymore. The owner was extremely patient with our (very) limited French and we ended with a wonderful meal. The food was excellent and the recommendation of the owner for wine was also very good. I don't remember exactly what we all ate, but I would definitely recommend the Steak Poivre a la Creme Champignons (my meal) and the Sole Meuniere de nos Belles Cotes (...

My family was on the move and we stopped at this restaurant by chance and we were so glad we made it! The host was very friendly and extremely patient with our bad attempt in the French language. The atmosphere was comfortable and friendly. The staff was very good and the food was amazing. We stayed several hours and had several courses and beautiful wine (except the driver of course) If I'm ever happy enough to visit this part of the world again, I will definitely stop here.

If you are looking for a BON restaurant then you are in the right place, the boss and his employees are in small care with their customers and the dishes are excellent! Special mention for the terrace that makes us travel.
