Restaurant Le Lissier

Visited for the first time early September with visiting family. Food was cold and not cooked to order in my opinion looked like it was back het. I was a more than a bit disappointed to find out a lot of the food was not...made in house but bought in from the shop across the road and just het up, that was the same for the deserts. To be fair I was asked if I wanted a replacement or to chose something else from the menu but decided against it however to my disgust the two of the four meals that were sent back were still on our bill. I didn’t say anything and just payed and left. I won’t be back.

This was the best food we've eaten so far on our french trip! Absolutely delicious! We were lucky to get a table as we hadn't booked. A kindly french local rushed his dinner so we could have his table. The menu was excellent. The service...was excellent. The drinks selection was excellent. The food was excellent. We loved it all! We will most definitely be back. Very highly recommended.

This is a lovely restaurant. Prices are very reasonable and food was super tasty. Our waitress Catherine made our experience easy and more enjoyable as she spoke English. (We know zero French to our shame). She helped us to choose from the menu and just...friendly chatted with us. If we ever visit this small town again, we will surely be back to this restaurant.

We visited here the second night after they reopened following the lockdown and knew it had changed hands in the meantime. The food was excellent, very tasty and well-presented. The staff were friendly and timely in their delivery of the food.

We enjoyed a great lunch today, good menu wine list and reasonably priced. We recommend that you go and enjoy.
