This is a great restaurant but there are some issues preventing it from achieving 5 star status. For one, the service is extremely slow. Unless you have 3-4 hours don't bother. I enjoy fine dining still found this insanely slow compared to other restaurants in the industry.Food was great, but not incredible. Around the table we had bison cheek, deer steak, scallops, Tuna tartare, all of which simply met expectations. Nothing really stood out in our eyes, nothing was remarkable. They also have limited digestifs which is surprising. Cute place and romantic atmosphere.Food selectively good.I had scallop and wagyu steak.Really liked rose wine smoky and fruity at the same time.Scallop on the dry side and lots of sauce.wagyu steak ok just ok. Had so many sides and are that over cooked.My red wine that supposed to go with wagyu was icy cold and not in the right class served. Why ? Not sure.Waiter completely was dismissive to me out the party of 4 people.Not what I have expected from a place with so many stars.
Hats off to Nelson for providing us with exceptional service and excellent wine recommendations! I would highly recommend this establishment if you enjoy classic French cuisine as the seafood, duck lamb dishes stood out. Ice cream flavors were also unique and impactful.
