During our walk through Duingt 2 weeks ago just prior to mid-day we stopped in here for some refreshing drinks and a snack if possible. The place was completely empty apart from another couple having drinks. We would have liked to have sat under the...shade as it was a really hot day but was advised if we just wanted drinks we would have to sit on the terrace in the full sun. I can understand the patio area being kept for diners only, fair enough, however the waitress was sour, unwelcoming with no people skills. We felt like walking out then. We booked for lunch, and when we arrived, we were greeted by an aggressive woman who might be managers/owners) cried to us because she didn't like where we parked our bikes! All cycles around Annecy and most places have bicycle stands, but not here!... There was no warm welcome in the restaurant. The service was very unprofessional courses that arrived before cutlery; asked if we wanted dessert while waiting for our main course). Lunch was not better than acceptable and quite expensive. The view is great, but if you want exceptional food, a warm welcome with the magnificent view I would advise you to try Clos Marcel, also in Duingt. We have eaten several times in Le Roselet in recent years,...

We stayed at this restaurant on a sunny Thursday afternoon during our bike tour on the lake. It was a bit before 2:00, but we were kindly welcomed, and a table at the water was prepared for us. We are not sure, but we have the impression that the restaurant/hotel was run by a father, mother and daughter. All three are equally friendly and attentive. As an appetizer I had twelve escargots in Persillade, and my partner enjoyed homemade duck foie grass cooked in nature and its red wine gels. The Sea Bass Filet and its Nantes butter were buttery soft and great on taste. In short, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch in a beautiful place at the lake.

We were on a tour through the lake when we got hungry and started looking for a place to dinner. A nice “yes, we accept dogs” was our welcome and we were able to save the last table. A magnificent view of the lake from... the front part of the terrace. Fine. The friendly staff soon served us and we enjoyed a Niçoise salad for me and Escargots followed by a frying of small local fish for my companion. The dogs have their bowl of water. Rude management. About the meals taste, texture and plating are way too simple for the price they asking. 5 euro for a coffee that taste like instant coffee. Unpolite staff, only waiter was nice. No people skills, cant imagine how terrible it would be if...you booked a night in the hotel there. This establishment needs a better menu, a new crew and an upgrade of the white plastic snackbar chairs on the outside terras to become a real restaurant! A shame and a disgrace for the french cuisine. This could be such a great place!

Overpriced food and horrendeous coffee. I did mentioned it briefly in a nice manner while wanting to pay. The lady rudly scoffed at me and starting speaking french very quickily. The owner/manager came over furious without asking me what the problem was and started shouting...at me! He told me I was dumb fat cow and if I would not pay he would call the police. I said go ahead and told him he was very rude, had zero idee for problemsolving or handling a complaint. Not hospitable at all, I recommend take your euro elsewhere.

The entire team of waiters seemed inappropriate to wear their masks. One guy wore it on his chin, all the others just on her mouth. The view was beautiful, however, and the fish, although overpriced and prepared without creativity, was fresy enough. The tomato mozzarella...table was really above average.

We stopped by for a spontaneous lunch during our trip back from the mountains. We were very positively surprised! Efficient service, nice view over the lake and good food. We shared three starters between the two of us and were happy with all of them....Would recommend this place for a stopover! Reserva una mesa ahora

This is the type of restaurant where locals come to celebrate a special occasion. Loved the atmosphere. Our fish for two was delicious. The tart of the day and espresso was also delicious.

It was a hot day and we needed to take some fluids on board. This place was fine as we took drinks on their terrace beside the lake. But could not extrapolate to a view on food
