Restaurant Le Turenne

We had dinner on the second night of our stay at this hotel and it was delicious. We ordered the 28 euro menu which started with a cold cucumber appetiser, this was followed by a tomato salad for me and cold pea and duck soup for my companions. Two of us had grilled fish for our main and it was perfect whilst our third member had duck on roast peaches. He felt some vegetables would have made this meal better. For dessert 2 of us had a selection of sorbet and little cakes which were beautifully presented and delicious ant the third person had cold strawberry soup with ice cream which he found underwhelming! The staff had little understanding of English so it made it difficult to request vegetarian food, however when it came it was beautiful.

We had the menu of the day selection. Cold pea soup with lightly poached egg in the centre. Baked fillet of duck on a bed of hot peaches and rich sauce. Bowl of strawberry 'soup' with lemon sorbet. 26€. All excellent flavours and their descriptions were better than mine. Complimentary nip of warm soup to start off. They put a carafe of water on our table and I noticed they charged 4€ for it on the bill. Not sure what that was about but I didn't say anything as the meal was so good.

we have dinner at this restaurant during our night at the hotel the turenne of the mouth-to-mouth, it was an excellent meal of flavors, very nice presentations especially dessert, not to mention the good humor and smile of the 2 young waitres very well supervised by the no less smiling responsible do not forget to book because the tables are few and spaced what confer of the so nice restaurant

We had a very good evening in this very good quality restaurant. The staff is nice, the service is perfect. We ate very well, it was excellent without being ruinous!

nice place, we were served warmly in a family establishment, quiet, refined, and super nice. We had a great time, thank you.
