The restaurant is on the side of the road with some parking outside and more across the road. Its an old school as the name suggests and very nicely decorated. Super clean too. We were warmly welcomed by a pleased waiter. The plat de jour was certainly above the level we have usually found. We had a little amouse bouche-some lovely warm vegetable soup. The bread was very good almost focaccia. For starter we had a crispy salad with a tasty dressing. The main course was chicken and chips which sounds boring but was done beautifully. Always easy to get a reservation, service is quick and staff friendly. Their Alsace pizzas are extremely good, and they specialise in Alsace cuisine, great garden in the summer to sit outside, and cosy restaurant inside. Nice selection of wines. All in all my favourite restaurant to go to when tired and in need of some good French country cooking.

Roadside with parking and on the other side terrace and free green space for children, quality top price, varied choices and above all don't make the stale on giant ice cuts and too good...to very soon
