This little gem was a surprise find, and WHAT a FIND!! Driving from our morning activity to a planned St Victoire afternoon walk, we were looking for a small bistro for a quick lunch. While negotiating the winding lanes of Puyloubier my partner caught site of Les Sarments ' sign up a 'petit chemin '. Pulling up, he suggested I check it out while he parked. Yes, they had a table. We had no idea of the menu or price, we were hungry. Simple decor, the menu du jour on the blackboard, exquisite glassware and crockery, suggested quality. We were not to be disappointed. We searched Puyloubier for somewhere to eat and discovered this jewel hidden away up an alley. The environment was beautifully presented with an eye for all the details. The food was both delicious and presented in top style. The service was incomparable with the host being attentive and interesting to chat to. It made our day so very much more enjoyable and memorable to have had lunch there. We would travel back to Provence and Puyloubier to eat here again!
My friend and I were recommended this restaurant in Puyloubier. We had a lovely 3 course lunch served by our excellent waiter. The food was delightful and the service was excellent. It was a lovely sunny day so we ate in the garden and were so pleased that we did. Thank you for a delicious lunch washed down by the local Rose. Every course was superb and the dessert to die for. I hope we can visit France again to come here.
