After travelling all day, we arrived in Allonziers la Caille, looking for a place to get a good evening meal. We saw this place, tucked in the corner of what looked like an industrial estate, but decided to take a punt and try it.It was exactly what were looking for, specialising in alpine cheesy cooking. I got a 'planche", which was a wooden board with a big green salad, steamed potatoes, a large plate of thin sliced cold meats like jambon cru, salami and ham, all accompanied by an iron pot of melted reblechon cheese mixed with white wine, over a candle (to keep it melted).
