we were here regular and liked for dinner and appreciated the Mediterranean and rustic dishes, the excellent wine service and the ambiente. our last few visits showed however in another direction. the personal seems heillos overwhelmed, untrained, rude and ignorant. on Saturday e.g. there were plenty of personal standing around. but we have been over again and again. it began with the fact that after entering the local we were sure to wait about 10 minutes, it certainly ran around 8 hired past us again and again, without greeting or any other word change. we were just ignored. apparently, the success has risen in the head, that on naturalness in gastronomy no longer lay worth, which is no lo...
I have visited Markthalle Restaurant to try their steak tartare. Taste was ok but one hour after the dinner I got very sick stomach. Considering that I basically did not eat much that day it must have been the tartar. Either they have poor hygiene, poor meat or both :( . I am sorry but restaurant cannot operate like this. I have filled report with Zurich public health office (Kantonales Labor Zurich).
Recently enjoyed Markthalle with friends for dinner. Two of us had beef and two had fish, everybody enjoyed their meal. The french fries that were ordered as a side dish were outstanding. We enjoyed sitting outside with some wine then dinner. Our requirement for gluten free dining was handled very well, lot's of choices. Great evening.
small but fine menu choice. impressive wine card with hundreds of crying. very accommodating service staff with competent expertise. price performance for zürich very pleasant. the locally and the outside area very inviting.

This restaurant is mostly popular with locals and very busy at dinner time. Excellent place to try local meals over lunch and dinner. However, this place is open throughout the day and serves excellent coffee as well.
great atmosphere as it is located in the market hall of the viaduct. very friendly and attentive service. were only for cappuccino and cake (the cheesecake was brilliant) there. come back for dinner.
