We had dinner here a few days ago and we were totally blown away. The food tasted amazing, our waitress was very friendly and our dog got its water before our seats were warmed up The bread we had with our aperitif was delicious. The main course was absolutely breathtaking for each one of us. The presentation of each plate was mouthwater. This restaurant and cook Daniel earn their 5 star rating. Also the little chat with Koch Daniel was a nice touch to the evening. We will definitely come back and recommend this restaurant for friends and family.
The cook is really creative and I will remember the slow-cooked calf cheeks for ever!It is a pity that only a few tables have a view on Munot castle and that the view should be concealed by useless thick curtains.Also to improve the experience I might suggest a menu in English, less loud music in the bar side of the restaurant, and to let diners know that there is a big parking lot at the back of the restaurant when diners male a reservation. The best restaurant around the larger Schaffhausen area! Congratulations to Chef Daniel Riedener and his team in the kitchen and the pleasant, professional service staff for a wonderful evening celebrating my wife's birthday. Chef Daniel's creativity, which offers a gourmet tasting menu, is excellent. Will often come back whenever Switzerland/Germany visits. Keep the wonderful work, boss Daniel!!
We ate here on a business trip and had a fantastic meal. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious and beautifully presented.
