We have stopped here many times over years to eat and drink. Its a big mountain restaurant so there is a self service area, and also a waiter service restaurant at the top. There is a huge sun deck with tables and benches and...of course deck chairs. The views are incredible from here. The inside of the building is all huge wooden beams and simple traditional Austrian decor. There is a ski school room and the cleanest mountain toilets in the world! The food is good, all the usual sausages, bratwurst, kasespatzle, germknodl and Austrian food, but also spag bol and other European food to suit anyone. Simple but tasty and reasonable prices.
The Kapell Restaurant I know since almost years. We always go in the floor service area. Food is good, service staff over the top and super fast. Ambiente is nice. When the weather is nice they have a beautiful terrasse. The only thing...I really don't understand in the year is the non existent wlan. This would be so easy to adjust! However if you are used to go in Switzerland to restaurants, than the price you pay for lunch is very fair here!!!
It is worth stopping there for a meal with a beautiful view. We were there at the evening party with music on the last day of August, this August Oktoberfest. The beer was very good and the pretzels too. People enjoyed the music bobbing on...Tyrolean and worldwide hits.
