Restaurant Nozy

We had a wonderful meal this evening at Nozy, one of only 2 couples there. (It was 3 degrees F outside....) I had the 5 dish chef sampler, sea food chowder, sashimi, eggplant dip, miso soup, Japanese fried chicken, salad and rice. We also had oysters on the half which were cleaned and displayed beautifully. Also, large and great tasting. My daughter had a salmon sashimi that was quick seared on the outside. We also had mixed drinks that were tastefully done and reasonably priced. A great little Montreal secret.

I haven't had a perfect meal in a long time. Everything was amazing and tasty from the miso soup to the salad to the wine and of course the melting sashimi. Even the wasabi was awesome. Everything was well balanced, either cooked to perfection or as fresh as it could be. I usually don't like ribs (especially the sweet bbq ones) but Nozy's ribs was tender, not sweet, yet full of flavour. Can't wait to go again and try something else! I feel like this is the closest as I can get to Japan!

I love this place that served great and fresh ingredient dishes. Great Japanese food at its best in Montreal! The Chirashi and Kaisen Don was really exquisite and fresh. I have never had such fresh seafood before.I highly recommend the omakase if you had not being to this place. It is pricey but it was worth it, as you get to try the best dishes by the chef if they have it on the menu. Will definitely be back for more..

Love this place. Quaint and cool decor, it's inviting and unassuming. Chef owner Nozy dishes up the perfect meal. If you're into Sashimi, I highly recommend the Tirashi bowl!!

Délicieux repas japonais dans un cadre sobre. Personnel très sympa. Avons choisi l'assiette de dégustation de 5 plats tous succulents. Je recommande.
