There are several restaurants up here (when you're either doing winter sports or come for a hike in summer). Some have quite silly prices, but this one here has really reasonable prices. Not only that, the food itself is worth a visit as well.Inside it is on the smaller side. And that's a good thing. Really feels warm, cosy and welcoming. A bit like in the living room of an old swiss house.There are some of the usual items on the menu (Schnitzel, Cordon-Bleu, Steak....). But also some more interesting choices. I went for the "Aelpler-Roesti". It's simple, but delicious. It's a whole plate of Rösti, then some ham, topped with melted cheese ... and an egg on top (sunny-side up). It's heavy, it's filling....it's good! Especially in winter really the kind of meal you need (you might need a quick nap after it). A really good choice and for 20.- a real steal.Service was very friendly and never rushing / pushy. It's not the closest to the funicular station and in winter that means you have to get through the snow for a few minutes.
