Tucked away off the beaten track in Zuzwil, St Gallen, this special restaurant is worth the effort.Being local makes it typically Swiss in terms of the cuisine, wines and digestifs. One can't help choosing a starter (steak tartar in my case) as well as a typically Swiss main course, Cordon Bleu.A range of local digestifs are available (Apenzeller in my case). Outstanding setting, service, atmosphere, food and beverages.

Excellent hotel rooms. Nice designed and with an astonish view. only people with a light sleep will be disturbed by the nearby church and its bell. Restaurant is recommendable as well. Not the cheapest in town but natural and fresh. And the chief is flexible for extra wishes. Starter salad (8 CHF), main course (35 CHF). I'll definitely be back.
