We visited this restaurant some years ago, had a great meal then and decided to come back. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed. We visited on a Saturday and made a reservation (which turned out to be unnecessary). For some reason they only had the reduced menu, which was a big disappointment. The house itself was nice, but the room we were seated in was dimly lit and the tables a bit run down. The food was alright, the beers were very good. Service was overall a bit slow but very nice and friendly. After we expressed our disappointment with the reduced menu, she comped our beers, which was a very nice gesture. they sell the unique beer burgdorfer beer, it is delicious. i don't have any experience when it comes to the restaurant, as I have only tasted the beer. The beer is made in the same building so it is surely worth a visit. Also, if you are a group of people you can make a reservation for a room in the basement which looks authentic with its old bricks in the wall. The best thing there is is the open air cinema in summer time, it is such a beautiful event.
Only a 10 min walk from Burgdorf railway station decided to go try this Brauhaus out .Had 3 really nice brewed beers . With all sorts to choose from . Unfortunately no Weizens on though till the end of the month .Nice clean and tidy and very friendly staff.Didn't eat here but food looked and smelt good with plenty of choice .I look forward to returning again one day . Well worth a visit if you like your beer !
We visited on a week night and there was no wait to be seated. The menu has a little bit of everything: salads, burgers, chicken, beef, etc. so there is something for everyone.The service was ok. The food was ok. I ordered a chicken meal with zucchini and almond rice. The chicken was a little bland, the zucchini was ok and I really liked the almond rice.If I were to go back I would try something different.

Visited here with friends and overall had a bad experience. The staff was impolite and aggressive around closing time. The Schützenhaus staff tried to kick us out even before the restaurant was closed and did not give us space to finish our beer. Constantly told we had to leave because they were closing. Inappropriate service industry behaviour. Will not return.
We have visited the restaurant for the first time since I has been opened again after the renovation during Corona closure. We liked the new menu, waitress was very friendly, the food delicious and it came fast. This restaurant is a must when visiting Burgdorf for everybody who likes beer and food that goes along.

You go there for the beer. In the summer, they also have a fairly nice beer garden, the beer is brewed on premise. Prost!
