Restaurant Schwendelberg

Having visited Schwendelberg restaurant now several times, this place is always on our to-do list when having visitors in Luzern. The view from up here is simply breathtaking, and surprising driving up through the forest. The food is the traditional mountain food - which means on the heavier side but good quality and value for money. Also for children there is a playground. We will for sure keep coming here, and can highly recommend it.

Visited the restaurant out of convenient because we stayed there, and this turn out to be one of the two best meals we had in Switzerland (the other one was at Stadtkeller Swiss Folklore Restaurant because we enjoyed the show). The view was great, and the food delicious and reasonably priced (by Swiss standard). We loved the Cordon Bleu. My kids also enjoyed the playground while we were waiting for our food. Very family friendly.

We had spent some hours gliding over the alps so we were hungry. The 'Berg' was a perfect place for lunch. Sitting outside in the sun with stunning views of the lakes, five of us enjoyed a tremendous lunch.

Best plaxe to enjoy the view over all the mountains and Lake Luverne while havind delicious food. Lukas the host is very friendly and will tend to all ypur needs. Try the cordon bleus!

We very much enjoyed the afternoon coffee and ice cream her. The service is friendly and the food and coffee very good. We will come back.
