I had received a birthday voucher and had reserved a table for 06.08.17 on 28.07.17. Unfortunately, I had to notice on arrival that the restaurant is closed. There was no notice on the homepage or on the entrance door. No one could reach by phone. After I moved to the ski chalet and had a very long way to get there, I was quite annoyed! MAl has been back in the Skihütte Kaufbeuren on recommendation of a customer . We would very kindly receive from the boss and his service the table we could choose ourselves. Finely covered with fresh flowers and glasses the amient is very stylish and held in the farmhouse Stiehl. The cleanliness in the restaurant is tadelos and tip top. We spend the night at this small resaurant in anticapation of the fireworks at the end of the Kaufbeuren festival. The restaurant is located on the highest hill of Kaufbeuren. It has a wonderfull view over Kaufbeuren. The fireworks where spectacular. The food was great, and the service pleasant. We could park right next to the restaurant. In the winter if there is snow the hill is used by the local ski club and the restaurant turns in a real skihutte.

We had lunch. There was a lot of snow and the sun was shining so we had a spectacular view on the mountains. I had the Käsespätzle. Good prepared and tasty. Big portion with a side salat. Nice beers from the local ABK brewery. Langlauf loipe near by so a good place to take brake. Price quality is OK. Friendly Wirt.
Nice place with good bourgeois cuisine. Good food in good quality at fair prices. The services were very nice and accommodating. Great bonus is the fantastic view of the Allgäu.
We were here spontaneously. The food was fine and also the service was very nice. I can't recommend only the Ribs as they had an undefined snack. The view is TOP!
