We were quite disappointed. We’re sitting outside. Next to us were smokers. We asked to sit somewhere else. They did not even try and at the end the reproached us having said, we did not like to sit next to smokers. The food was very average. As it was warm and the kids were running around, we ordered just plain tap water. They charged 2.50€ for 1/2 liter and we had 5... I. Addition we had 1/2 liter of plain bottled water and 1/2 little of bubble water. We were 5 peoples and we had appetizers, main courses (no kids meal) and deserts. When we asked why the charged so much for tap water, the owner said the water is free, but he has to pay his employees... and then the owner told us, that even...

This is a friendly bistro type restaurant, with lavish internal decorations and friendly service. NB This is not in Neuwiller les Saverne which is to the north of Strasbourg, but this is in Neuwiller, next to the Swiss border near Basel. It 's a different Neuwiller and I hope Tripadvisor sorts this out soon. Good restaurant, inexplicably confusing menu that the waiters have to patiently explain to everyone who is not used to it, but a good meal and good value with a specialty on fish and lobster. They seem to be oroud of the obelix steak wbut this is not so memorable

because Monday was and so much too much we thought: let's make this shady in newwill. ambiente : mass production with Alsace look, the whole shed looks and smells marode.The meat had zero taste and was lasch.Industriepommes. 2 small bumps on candle warmers : the thin bearnaise despite the chemistry half zeronnen, the mushroom sauce was also much too liquid burned on. in this undefined doke swam a half mushroom. all in all a bad joke, at a proud price.Love some commentary on tripadvisor are the starck high and low flights. we will certainly do without another attempt.

Very disappointed. The chewiest fillet bouef I have tasted. Not a fillet in my opinion. I questioned the waiter even suggesting that it was a rump steak but he just walked off without any reaction. Service was slow perhaps because of my initial question. For 29 euros it really was not worth the effort. Oh well you win some and you loose some.

we went there to several warm welcome, service nothing to say impeccable, we all spent a very pleasant evening. The swine I recommend it to you when know the period, you will feast .So what I enjoyed the friendliness of the boss as well as his staff .restaurant recommend. quality and price very correct ...

elegant restaurant, very rustic furnishings, almost romantic. the bark fillet with various different sauces is very good, even the kråuterbutter is recommended not ready dishes, all made themselves. all very tastefully seasoned. the prices are safe for French conditions, but okay.

I was here with my family for a dinner. I had the filet Obelix which was cook very nicely and tender, the pepper sauce was superb. Hirsch beer was tasty My parents had asparagus and they were wonderful as well. Staff is very quick, helpful and friendly. I would go there again.

very good table the obelix net is excellent. for vegetables, it is specified on the card that you must pay an extra charge. I am French and all staff speak French and German.Service very pleasant and available. I'll be back with great pleasure.

We have been to this place several times and the quality of the food is always excellent and fairly priced. Among other meat specialities the most oustanding is Chateaubriand and believe it or not Black Forest cake is also a must!
