Restaurant Toshiya

A quaint little suburban Japanese restaurant which has everything quintessential to a Japanese cuisine. The produce was certainly fresh, and their presentation boasts of experienced chefs. I had the pleasure of a seat that was directly facing the kitchen, and was particularly impressed with how orderly the staff functions were. The waitresses were stretched due to a full house, but the chefs maintained a serenely controlled poise, brisk but deliberate, ensuring that each order revealed their artisanal intent. A common cliche says that chefs' moods are often manifested in their food. Our dinner was delicious and radiated much Zen. Top job, Toshiya, we will most certainly be back!

Apr 21 The food is still brilliant and fair value. Visit mid week, it was pack and service slow. The food is worth the wait Jan 21 Do yourself a favor and don't be put of by the décor ! the food is truly outstanding and value for money ! Sui Gyoza, Teriyaki wagyu beef and Volcano roll absolutely sensation will be back

Perfect ‘Date Night’ Japanese restaurant in Cremorne. All the dishes are so fresh and delicious and the service very friendly. Must try dishes are the sashimi tacos, the salmon aburi sushi, and my absolute favourite the ‘VOLCANO LOBSTER’! Plus, they’re BYO ;

Very tasty and fresh Japanese food with fast and warm service. Sashimi tacos were a great starter, very generously stuffed. Sashimi platter was super fresh, the tuna belly and oysters a highlight. We’ll be back for our pre-movie dinners :

Great service, good food, however if you are expecting an authentic Japanese food, this is not the one for you. They are fusion. Great presentation nice ambience place, but yes.....the tables are too close to each other.
