It is located just minutes away from castle. And it works the whole day, in opposite many restaurants around are closed from Portions are very big, and high quality food. I really recommend to try venison. It was indeed very tasty as well...as other dishes. Venison is served with pear and cranberry dressing. Prices are quite affordable.

This place might please a vegetarian but I didn’t like it. I ordered a pasta dish with mushrooms. The mushrooms were covered in a heavy and overly salty sauce and were tasteless. The salad bar was a saving grace. Still I would suggest trying elsewhere...for better food. Service okay given the summer crowd.

We ate dinner here on a recent bicycle trip along the Donau. My wife is a big fan of venison, and enjoyed the Hirschsteak, cooked perfectly. All the food was very good, and we certainly eating here

This restaurant is right across from the castle and is our favorite address when we are here. The food is great and the portions are filling. The service is polite and efficient as well.

confirmed booking for a group of people was cancelled only days in advance. Allegedly because another group which booked before, increased the number of their people significantly
