Swiss friends recommended by us, we meet on the road between our houses in the grape in Dietingen and very friendly a reservation Monday and so shortly after New Year! We had a spacious table for 4, which simply hosted 6 in the second room. When you enter, the first part is more rustic, behind the bar and two steps down an elegant dining room for about 30 50 guests. Well visited, but not full, noise levels very low. This restaurant is located in a very old building, typica Swiss and very beautifully located with a perfect view over the Thurtal. during summer time you can enjoy the beautiful terrace and the view in the evening is excellent. but also in the restaurant is very charming. food is made with love and always very good. the menu changes from time to time so you will always find something new when you visit this place a few times during the year. Service is very friendly and you always feel welcome. they also have a very good wine cellar. it is good to book a table because this place is very often fully booked.

Cozy and yet stylish restaurant with a large, covered terrace that is very pleasant and airy even on hot summer days. Appealing menu and great atmosphere. I opted for the fish dish (three types of fish, pike-perch, salmon and shrimp) and was thrilled. Then there was a dessert like in the old days with plum compote and vanilla ice cream, simply sensational!! Nice and very attentive service and a really passable price-performance ratio. I would love to come back. Thanks!

Whether you have a romantic dinner or you have your important business partner for dinner, the restaurant Traube will surprise you. very good selection of wines. All dishes are special and provide the detail, the service is impeccable and also the view from the hill is relaxing. I was one of the best restaurants in Switzerland. Prepare for a large space, but with a proportional invoice.

We had a wonderful evening in this typical German country restaurant. The selection of dishes and drinks was impressive. The preparation and service were also at the highest level. If you are in this area of the Black Forest, I suggest a visit)
