Three dinners at Tresanton all exceptional. The menu is short but offers plenty of choice dishes rotate enough to remain interesting on consecutive nights. Highlights for us were the crab tian, arancini, all the fish (lemon sole, John Dory, the mackerel starter sea bass). And the young master says the duck was great too, so much so that I didn’t get a look in… Excellent wine list too refreshing to see such interesting whites, or so the old master says. He’s a sucker for Italian whites (from the Puglian Fiano to the Vernaccia) but also the Spanish (Albariño Gordello). My samples in the form of regular doggy boxes we’re all tip top, so thank you as ever to Jonathan, Paul and the whole team in...

On arrival found staff and receptionist to be first class , nothing was off limits to them , made my parter’s getaway the best she has ever had . Food was stunning buts its quite pricey , drinks were very good they will add 12.5% surcharge on these , The view from the rooms were stunning and could not ask for a better view . Bathroom was very good but our shower seals were leaking water all over the floor . Rooms made up every day and beach towel set was complimentary for use nice touch . All in all had an excellent few days away to unwind . If you need to no more , please don’t hesitate to ask for more information.
We had lunch at the Tresanton with good friends who live in Cornwall know the area very well. They correctly regard this luxury boutique hotel as the gem of St. Mawes which is a stunningly beautiful, very upscale, and unspoiled coastal fishing village on the Roseland Peninsula, a short ferry ride from busy Falmouth. It has gorgeous views of the bay from the dining terrace, beautifully appointed public rooms, and great food. We did not stay at the hotel because it was fully booked, for good reason.
Typically understated and unostentatious English restaurant. The place is very classy and ensures customers receive high quality service. The food and drink are exceptional, and they handled very well a family lunch for 14 with ages ranging from 2 to 79! Ricardo looked after us amazingly and made everyone feel welcome. That would be enough but too it off with the stunning back drop of St Mawes and St Anthony Head. Cant recommend enough and am sure anyone who goes will long to return…. Reserva una mesa ahora
A special dinner out in this great location with very nice staff. Unfortunately the food disappoints. Bread is good. Starter of warm but flabby mullet draped over cold green beans on a cold plate? Crispy skin? No. Main course duck, meat ok but flabby skin again? Even I know how to get crispy skin on duck breast. Will think twice about coming again. Local take away fish chips was much better
Excellent restaurant wirh professional staff in a wonderful location. Our food was simply delicious. The asparagus soup subtle but very tasty. The plaice was beautifully cooked and presented. The spinach and ricotta ravioli were very tasty where the dough was paper thin. We finished the meal with sharing the Pannacotta which was good as well.
Always wanted to visit the restaurant, so was excited But the menu is a little tired and dated, compared to other fine restaurants in Cornwall . Waiters and staff very polite For 2 courses , 1 gin and tonic , no wine £148 , seemed expensive Don’t think will return But glad it’s out of my system !
Our first visit to this restaurant but, hopefully not our last! Dinner was excellent, staff very helpful and knowledgeable, prices reasonable Fully lived up to our expectations! Gerry and Caroline Chichester Reserva una mesa ahora

Lovely décor and service. Food was fine but a bit overpriced I thought. Would return if someone else was paying.
