Angelockt through the very positive reviews we wanted to get to know the Woinemer Stuben. For this we even left our favorite locals on the market square to the left and drove in the less fine part of the mountain road towards Hesse. The ambience is more bourgeois and thirsty than on the market; almost boring. We created a table in the front room decorated with consecrated and old views of Woinem. Antenna sockets and a double socket were still present in one corner shortly below the ceiling. I guess there was a TV for football broadcasts earlier. We ordered a Schriesheimer Riesling and a Weissburgunder 0.2 to € 3.70 . Both wines were of normal quality. Since the place was classified as German, regionally, we ordered something more common and something more unusual: Flamecake Classic € 6,90 and a spa pan € 16,90 . The flame cake was normal, as Alsace's flame cakes are. The spa pan was beautifully arranged photo with 4 scampi, a yasmin rice nest and lots of pineapples and other fruit and vegetables. The sauce consisted of soy sauce and fruitsud. She had an salty and at the same time sweet taste, which was interesting at first, but in the course of food gave the whole rather a restless taste. Overall, you can certify the cook creativity for the spa pan, but the recipe will certainly not enter the cooking history as a classic. The menu includes mediteranne and German dishes with Asian bonds spa pan . In this respect, the classification is German, regional as well as the name Woinemer Stuben is somewhat misleading. The owner wants to go more towards Mediterranean. The guests also came not only from Weinheim or the Odenwald. There were some Englishmen in the side table. They obviously loved it here.
