Restaurant Word Haus

It’s a very pleasant place to enjoy a summer evening dinner in the garden patio. The food is just okay. Way too much salt for our tastes. Large portions, so if that’s what you like you won’t be disappointed. However, the cook/chef has no presentation...style for the food on the plate. Those large portions work against that. But then, we are spoiled by having such excellent restaurants and skilled chefs in Tokyo. Try it and see what you think.

This lovely restaurant in the Word garden was recommended and was excellent. The service was charming and we were given bread with a delicious spread as an amusebouche. My husband's zanderfilet was superb. My Wiener schnitzel with spicy sauce was less successful as the sauce...was a bit too sweet sour'but the schnitzel was beautifully cooked as were the potato cakes. I would highly recommend this restaurant .

Since years we use to go to this lovely place. And we visit it today. It was very busy, but stuff was friendly and meal coming pretty quick, so about min waiting time is absolute all right. Great meal, wonderful red wine from Saale....We had lively evening there, in friendly atmosphere.

We had a lovely meal here. We all ate different kinds of schnitzel which were beautifully cooked. The waitress was helpful and friendy een though we didn't speak German and she didn't speak English. Overall our best meal in Germany.

Popped in on a cold winter day about They welcomed our lab inside and brought her water The food and service was wonderful! We definitely plan to return for dinner!
