This is a no-frills establishment serving basic food/tapas which is fairly cheap. The attraction is that it is a stones throw from the auditorium (which has under cover parking to keep your car in the shade). We have been several times before attending events at the San Javier Jazz Festival (a must for anyone in the area in July). The staff are friendly, the food is hot. There is outdoor and indoor seating. If you want a quick bite to eat this is your place. During the Jazz festival it is advised to get here around 19.00 as the place will be packed later.
El personal de espera era muy amable y servicial con mi pobre comprensión del menú de tapas. Y cuando continué listando platos la camarera me dijo que ya había pedido suficiente comida! Algunas de las tapas son bastante grandes que se indica por el precio de 4,50 €, en comparación con 1,50 € para los grifos más pequeños. Tenía el delicioso mojito a un precio de €6, y pude llevarlo al concierto de jazz. Un ambiente espléndido también, especialmente como Keb' Mo' estaba comiendo en la siguiente mesa para la mía!
Hemos visitado aquí muchas veces. Es un lugar popular con los lugareños, sirviendo tapas y un menú variado de comidas completas. El auditorio exterior está a pocos pasos y alberga el Festival Internacional de Jazz de San Javier y muchas otras actividades. Estando en un parque, hay una zona de juegos infantil en frente que mantiene a los jóvenes felices, también. Sólo para actualizar, el restaurante ahora tiene wifi gratis también. Todo el paquete a buenos precios y una excelente ubicación.
I think it fair to say that San Javier isn't the gourmet capital of this part of Spain, there are many excellent restaurants in the area. Restaurante Bar Parque Almansa isn't one of them. However, going with the Tapas option rather than the full menu does boost my rating. The tapas is very good. Just pop into the bar and select a few dishes, much of it appeared to be home made and very tasty..

We enjoyed a good set of tapas for dinner before going to the auditorium of San Javier Jazz. Great and very economic choices of excellent tapas. Eat outside and get to the mood of coming Jazz..
On a cold and very wet day we received a very warm welcome. We were all having menu del dia and very nice it was too. The vegetarian paella was to die for....I wished I'd ordered it myself!
Tuvimos una buena risa cuando nuestras hamburguesas llegaron sin hamburguesas, pero pronto se corrigió y la camarera fue muy divertida. Un lugar encantador.
Quite good tapas and situated in a nice area in the park near the auditorium.The waiting staff were very nice and helpful.
