we had an ostar for7 people a table for 18 o'clock. at 18:45 we were finally allowed to give up our order. around 19:35 the food was there. Drinks had to be ordered with request. complaining, very polite, were ignored smoothly. not get agrappa or espresso offered, on the house of course, for the inadequate service. filet was very small, kartoffeln a sweat. better not go to special days there .
during my stay at the technoclassica in Essen I lived in the immediate vicinity of the cavallino rosso. Therefore I was there 3 times, which actually speaks for itself.The restaurant is well visited at any time, so I recommend a reservation. the menu contains both original, seasonal, new Italian cuisine and the usual standards with pizza and pasta.

we were accompanied to the opening at 17:30 nicely from the waiter at our table in the garden. the spaghetti served were more than boiled. here comes the idea that the boiled rest was only warmed up again from the lunch table. I assume that when you go to a good Italian restaurant spaghetti "al dente" gets served!
we have booked our Christmas food at cavallino rosso! at the food and the service there is nothing to put out and is absolutely recommended :-d it is necessary for the owner, who also works in the shop, to griech and to load it in an Italian :-d
