We visited Casas Viejas this time again. Can't say how much we like this restaurant. It's always clean. The food delicious, great service. Every Time we visit Cartago we make it a point to go. We also experienced a situation where a elder family member was choking on food and a doctor was there from the restaurant to assist. Again thanks

If you ever find yourself in Cartago where I was born. Please visit his place and get chuleta por metro it is breaded pork by the meter. It is amazing you will be so happy. And if you have vegetarian people in your party you will be happy as well. Plenty of choices here.

Delicious food and wonderful service. Winners: chuleta de cerdo apanada (breaded pork filet) lengua en salsa criolla (cow tongue in creole sauce) and the salads.....and of course the fruit juices. This place itself is a reason to come to this town. Fantastic!

The place is nice good ambiance, food is good we try sobrebarriga and lengua. Staff has a good service. Chaletas by the length looks really nice for groups.

This place has great food. Sure to be back for steak by the meter. Their lunch special are also great. Always ask for the special of the day.
