The family behind Pizzeria Pegasus certainly know what they 're doing! Trust. This hidden gem, literally tucked away on the Flugplatz, is a great place to grab some pizza with friends, or carb load with bowls of pasta and delicious sauces. Their bolognese is particularly noteworthy. Their 'garlic pizza ' or garlic bread as most people know it, is especially delicious and large enough for plenty of sharing. Service is prompt, and eating on the porch allows one to take in the scenic view of the beautiful and lush surrounding fields. I wouldn 't recommend this place especially with a large group. I paid 20 euro for the vegetarian 4 course meal that wasn 't even that of good. Also, if you come with a group be prepared to spend 4 hours just waiting on all 4 courses. I also had to ask 3 times just for a simple water because the waiter forgot. But for one he was very rude when I reminded him, and I also had seen him socializing with others during the long wait I was waiting for my water. Also, from the beginning the waiter was very rude and didn 't like how I was eating my spaghetti. Last I checked I 'm paying for my food and it 's not his business how I eat my spaghetti. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone...

Our favorite Italian restaurant in the oberpfalz. We especially like to sit out on the terrace in warmer weather and watch the aircraft/gliders arrive and depart. The food is always consistent. Real Italians running the kitchen which is always a good thing. Great place to bring out of town guests or for a date night. Kids will enjoy watching the aircraft if you can sit outside. Make sure to make reservations for fri and sat nights.
