Restoroute De Bavois S.a.

We were on the A1 traveling between Grindelwald and Zurich and needed a restroom break. The Kisoque de Bavois is a combination gas station, convince store, Burger King restaurant, and another more upscale restaurant. It was very busy and, although the parking lot was rather large, it was nearly full with only a couple of parking spaces available. The building, built on the side of a hill, looked rather small but as soon as we entered we realized that it was multi-level and very large. Windows facing down the side of the mountain gave a superb and beautiful view of the Swiss countryside as you looked at the Jura mountain range in the distance. Wir waren im Selbstbedienungsrestaurant. Das Essen war ok (Pizza, Spaghetti Napoli . Der Preis war aber für die Qualität und Essensmenge hoch (Pizza 15. pro Stück, Spaghetti knapp 18. , daher nur 2 Sterne. Ausserdem muss die Toilette bezahlt werden. Es gibt damn zwar einen Konsumationsgutschein dafür, aber das ist einfach zmszändlich. Gerade mit Kindern!
