Revel Roost Brick Oven Kitchen

The restaurant offers outdoor dining along the sidewalk, so we decided to give it a try, as outdoor dining is only option during COVID crisis. It's not an ideal environment because of the busy streets where the restaurant resides, but the food and service are terrific. I had halibut on a bed of fava beans, corn, shallots and peas. It was outstanding and plentiful, unlike a lot of seafood entrees you are served when dining out. I definitely plan to go back. My dinner companions had the fried chicken and flatbread pizzas which were also delicious. The restaurant offers take-out too. From what I observed, they were very busy in this regard.

Outside dining well managed in the limited space to which they currently have access...time to take some of that parking space right out front! Plenty of parking in downtown San Rafael Awesome attentive service! Thank you for being there! And the good...Sublime!!! The Calabrian Flatbread, just the right amount of heat, a beautiful and well balanced piece of art I ordered the buttermilk fried chicken, have had it before and I came back specifically for this! So. Damned. Good!! Great place! Glad to have them back and open!!!

The food is so good, the paella, the buttermilk fried chicken, the flat breads. Service is friendly, attentive, excellent. Great wine selection too.
