Yesterday was my final experience with this restaurant. Not only do they allow underage children to handle cash registers, but they also let them swear at customers when they are the ones making mistakes with orders. There was no customer service or empathy for the situation. It was a classic example of a restaurant where the youth are left to run the show without proper training or supervision.
On Sunday afternoon, all the live bands were performing. It would have been better to have another bartender, but I understand that they may be short-staffed. The service was efficient and the food was delicious, even with the large crowd present. It seems like finding workers is a challenge everywhere, but overall, the experience was enjoyable.
Family owned pizza restaurant with the best plain red pizza in all of Scranton and Old forge. You definitely pay for the quality but the service is always friendly. Great to bring your family.The last time I went ironically my cousin's band was playing and a family friend was there with her husband dancing along to the live music. Good vibes.
Pizza was good but the tripe was disgusting! It came in big hunks, no sauce except a little on the tripe itself. The tripe was like chewing a piece of rubber. No bread was served with it as is customary in the past and at other Italian restaurants. I wanted to send it back but my husband did not want to complain so he ate it. Never again! Revello's was my first stab at Old Forge-style pizza. The pepperoni tray was heavy, HEAVY, on onion flavor. Still, I liked it quite a bit. Low marks for the soda policy, however; no free refills. Seriously. Also, the fries were disappointingly undercooked.
I didn't stop here. but someone told me that this is a good pizza place. we sell that they are frozen pizzas so we can try. it was 16 dollars for a frozen pizza; not cheap on any wise and honestly it was on place with high school cafeteria pizza.
This restaurant is a fantastic, traditional family pizzeria. It is a classic Old Forge establishment that should definitely be considered. The service is excellent, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the pizza is delicious.
