I spent nearly $10 on a 12 oz large milk and hot coffee latte at this place, and I was very disappointed. I could easily make better coffee at home. The bagel with plain cream cheese was only half the size of what I get at Brod Nosh, yet it was similarly priced. The raspberry muffin was a joke and looked nothing like the photos on DoorDash. I usually stick to Brod Nosh, but I decided to try something new this time, and I genuinely regret it. The mediocre food is priced like it belongs in a fancy coffee shop, which feels outrageous.

The bagel with plain cream cheese was half the size of those at Brod Nosh, yet priced similarly. The raspberry muffin was a joke and looked nothing like the pictures on DoorDash. Normally, Brod Nosh is my go-to, but I decided to try something new this time and I regret it. The food was mediocre at best, with prices that make it feel like a fancy coffee shop. It's truly frustrating.

There aren’t many cafés where you can get like regular weekday, breakfast sandwiches, and a cup of coffee. Sullivan Bakery is too expensive. Coffee Project doesn’t have enough food. There’s nowhere to sit at Birch Coffee. Rex is the answer to all shortcomings of other neighborhood cafés. Reasonable prices and a lot of seating with good fast, quality, food, and coffee.

Normally I love this place. Great coffee, phenomenal breakfast burritos and pastries. But was severely disappointed by my “avocado toast” on Sunday. It was literally barely ripe avocado on stale rye bread smooshed together into a sandwich without any toppings… I could’ve easily made it better at home and it cost me $9. $13.50 for a rock hard bacon egg cheese. Think they should find a new bagel vendor. Bagel was so hard think it must have been stale. Will give this place another shot for a non-bagel sandwich, however, will go across the street to Bagel Market next time I want a bagel sandwich.

Probably the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had in NYC. Clean and cozy. Looks more like something you’d find in the West Village. My wife had the BLT which she also thought was excellent. Not cheap though.

I really love this place. A lot of natural light and a comfortable environment to get work done. Shoutout to Liv and Adam for great service and for good vibes.

What a wonderful little cafe! The staff was extremely welcoming and offered speedy service. There’s room to sit, eat and people watch. 10/10 Reserva una mesa ahora
