"Small but impressive Impressionist Exhibition "From Poussin to Monet" (till 6Sep/15). Great restored rail station building. The adjacent restaurant is an architectural gem, but we just thoroughly enjoyed a coffee and can't comment on the food served. A very good address for a day out!"

A really nice location on the Rhine river overlooking Nonneswerth and Rolandseck, downstream looking towards Remagen.Whether you are fortunate enough to site outside on the terrace in the spring / summer or inside in the high ceiling dining rooms, it is a very special dining experience for a reasonable price. For this reason we have come to this restaurant a number of time over the years.Today we had the Roast-beef salad platter, and Piedmont truffle Tagliolini. Both were excellent and served with the freshly baked rustic bread, with virgin olive oil.Service was smart and efficient. No complaints.

We have been here for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and both were a real treat. The restaurant is on the second floor of the historic train station (which is a lot more elegant than it sounds) and the space has been very nicely renovated. We came with a large group for breakfast and they went all-out with meats and cheeses and breads and pastries and eggs done to our liking, it was wonderful! Lunch and dinner were also very good. It's a great place for lunch after a visit to the Arp museum. There is a wonderful view from the deck over the Rhein river, a nice spot to sit in good weather.

I visited this fine restaurant in Remagen during a buisness trip in November 2011. We came late, and there few guests (this was on a Sunday). Service was quick and fine, and the food was very good. The menu, which included some exiting German specialities, could however had some more dishes to choose from. But anyhow, I found something I liked, and were pleased. The restaurant is situated inside an old railway station (Bahnhof Rolandseck), which I also found very nice and interesting.

Wow..what a gem... Enjoying an idyllic view of the Rhein from the terrace of a beautifully renovated restaurant atop a art mueseum inside a trainstation. Amazing food and wine. Do try the Desserts...My creme brulee was just out of the world and also had a generous serving of shaved truffles on my main dish....totally made my day ..cant wait to drop in soon !
