General Our almost two-hour city tour through Edenkoben ended on the Schafsplatz in the heart of the “Ludwigstädtchens”. In the immediate vicinity of the Schafsplatz we returned to fourth in the RIALTO. Owner is family Sala; the small ice cream parlour has been in Edenkoben since 1958, in 1989 the founder of the ice cream parlour, Virgilio Sala, gave the RIALTO to his daughter Paola and son-in-law. The two were still behind the vault, really very friendly and visibly with joy at work. They proudly gave me information on the history of the “ice salon” and the different glacial creations.
