we spent a week in the land of the brand-gage. our first “real” holiday with the daughter. we lived in the village, a city of müllheim, which has been recognized as a state-of-the-art resort since 1979. Access to the building market...beh burgerladen; the property seemed more like a sober office building from outside than a place of carnival. At the latest after I handed the glass door to the gastronomy, I received valuable hospitality in contemporary bistro style. beautiful environment in the inner vintage lights in industrial shabby look blurred from the deck and immersed the space in pleasant light. were also thought of floating elements for sound insulation. high-quality furnishings on the dark lacquered rear wall handmade large-format photographs of the longest industrial age. the bright bistro furniture seemed clean and tidy. the harmoniously arranged counter surface further behind seemed like a walled protective wall towards the kitchen. a young woman made herself there to get to the bank. After her drilling, she took note of me and welcomed me kindly. I wanted to choose a place outside on the terrace. I settled next to a gentle fountain and enjoyed the lukewarm summer evening in the müllheim industrial area. as unidyllically as it sounds, it was not possible here. the adjacent road, lined by tall trees, had almost something “satisfied”. In addition, evening traffic remained strong in line. Pleasant vibes on the terrace I immediately issued the wrinkle-up diner and drinking card from which I spontaneously ordered a splashing cyclist 4.30 Euro. Its regional beer content came from the Furstenberg brewery from Donaueschingen and ran fresh into the glass. equipped with a so well cooled “slip stop”, the day could sound good. I could then brush myself – if I wanted. after a pleasant waiting period – I was among the last guests waiting for them to eat – the magnificent rib section was served on a large wooden board in a guided tour through the above mentioned contributions. the reserve ribs in the complete version first I tried the herbal salad to make the best of the bow. I admit, freshly grilled reserve ribs are a little better because they simply precipitate more juice. However, the cracks were well premarinated, which was good for their taste. Also my hunger this evening was great enough to eat them completely into the bones. Hajo, hot G'sake! sometimes a successful spontaneous return can save you the arrival day. for culinary pleasure, it does not need a multi-course menu sequence from an honourable Creatiw kitchen, but – as served here – a hand-resistant home kitchen in a more solid design. if the service still fits – with a warm towel for cleaning the hands that I had not expected after eating – and the environment that remains animated cannot grow a defensive virtuous from the gastronomic. good-burgerliche industrieromantik in müllheim in my case it was a crib for the start of a holiday I like to remember. I went back to my two girls at 10:00. they have already slept there. So I enjoyed a cool-case-cold bottle beer from the private brewery waldhaus one of the best in the region as luggage and enjoyed the starry sky above the ground. of course and "without filter" let me know that well tapped into the first night in the Brand-Gäflerland.

Burger/Fries/salt, qualitatiw, tasty and also the portion absolutely mega. I think the price for this is completely justified, but. 6.50 € for a small, thin mini piece of cheesecake (which was very good) is steep.
