I know how good Indian food tastes (I have lived there in the past) and this place ticks all crates. it is a good quality and very tasty and I highly recommend it as the best in this area and trust them to me, I have all tried them. that is now the only one I will use in the future and their food is quite addictive, as it is so good to start taking twice in the week. there are so many dishes that I could recommend from their menu, but they are all too nice to have a favorite, so I suggest they all try over the time, but try the onion bhaji (sty, firm and non-fat comes with a beautiful mint yogurt sauce) and also the sag paneer (delicious, if they love this cheesy crispy always taste. trust m...

My fiancé and I decided to treat ourselves to a takeaway from Rice and Spice on the bank holiday Monday after a long day of work. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a terrible decision. The food we received was a complete disappointment - the onion bhajis were overly oily and rock solid, the mains lacked any real flavor and were just greasy, and the breads were dry and hard. We barely ate any of it, but what we did eat made us both very sick. My fiancé was vomiting that evening and I was sick throughout the night and most of the next day, even having to miss a day of work. We definitely will not be ordering from here again. I ordered a takeaway from here today for my parents and me. I ordered directly from the restaurant; the guy on the phone didn’t even sound like he wanted my custom. The food seemed to take forever to arrive. Every time we order from this restaurant the delivery driver must do wheelies as the food is always spilt. When the food eventually arrived, it was lukewarm. The naans were tough, and the bhajis were hard. And to rub salt in the wound, it turns out it would have been cheaper to have ordered it through Just Eat; so much for ordering direct! I’ve given this place the benefit of the doubt too many times and won’t be ordering from here again.

I ordered a meal for delivery at 6:20 and was told it would arrive at 7:25. It actually didn't arrive until 8:25, two hours and five minutes after placing the order. I rarely say this, but the food was awful. My wife's tikka masala did not taste like it usually does when we order from here. My meal was also very dry, barely moistened by oil in the container. Additionally, the containers were only about half full, unlike our previous orders. I will not be coming back.

What can I say, top notch food and plenty of it. Place order via the website and paid for it at the same time, very handy. Online timer lets you know how long your food will be, very quick for collection. All the staff were friendly on collection and got a very nice bag to boot. Will use again, thanks for the nice food.

Very good food, I had a chicken biryani, the home made chilli sauce was very tasty. The service is excellent and the staff are friendly. The takeaway it self has been refurbished and looks new and welcoming.
