I REALLY missed this place, so when I heard their buffet was back, I went to it! Okay, the flavors had changed on all my favor dishes, and not for the better. The crab rangoons came out fresh multiple times, but they were all chewy and old tasting. The pepper beef tasted like it had some dish soap mixed into it. The fried rice had METAL SCOURING PAD PIECES (yes, more than 1 piece)in it! When the manager was told, he just played it off saying it was no big deal and walked away without even a sorry or I 'll check out the dish on the buffet ..!!! Nice Chinese and Sushi restaurant that's been around for many years. Great EZ parking lot, and got a friendly greeting, along with being seated right away. I was attended to by three different wait staff. They must team together and they were attentive and friendly.I tried a Seafood Delight and it came with all sorts of seafood with veggies: shrimp, scallops, lobster, and sealegs. It was served with brown rice. I prefer white rice and I believe it would have made a tasty dish even better. I absolutely love visiting Rice Bowl for my comfort food. Their authentic Asian cuisine is unmatched in the area. Not only do they offer a buffet on Sundays, but their lunch specials from Tuesday to Saturday, from 11 AM to 3 PM, are a fantastic deal. Two of us enjoyed a meal for just $20! It's the best option around, all the way to Teays Valley. While I was dining there, I overheard another family expressing their preference for this restaurant over any in Teays Valley. It's also a charming spot for a date or even just a peaceful moment alone.
My wife and i are always ordering at rice bowl their food is on point and delicious. I think they are the best in town I love the fry chicken so crispy and well seasoned recommend 100%. Vegetarian options: Their cabbage soups good I love it . Dietary restrictions: They have dietary if you read your menu right it’s legit I love it. Parking: Always free parking and spaces. Kid-friendliness: The owner is very nice.

The food looked amazing, unfortunately we didn’t get to experience it because no one ever came to take our order. We watched others come in and be seated, receive drinks, and place orders…..25 minutes later no one had came to take our drink order. It wasn’t that busy and we weren’t in a back corner somewhere….. but no one even walked by our table to ask about placing and order.
Passing through I stopped in for lunch. Although, the chicken and broccoli was great the same couldn’t be said for the egg roll and spicy tuna roll. Egg roll tasted like nothing. Spicy tuna was just mush with no flavor, texture or spice.
I ordered sesame chicken and beef fried rice without vegetables. The sesame chicken tasted old, with a distinct freezer burn flavor. Instead of beef fried rice, I received something else.
Solid neighborhood Chinese joint. Lunch specials under $10. Friendly service. Check out the hot cabbage soup.
