Tonight I came in because some friends of mine wanted to escape the crowds of another spot down the road and figured we could order a bite to eat and have some drinks. Upon entering the bar it was only a few folks maybe 6-7 sitting at the bar. Two cooks and two bar/wait staff working and a few minutes past 9pm. I sat right at the bar, the bartender (redhead w ponytail) other employee(blonde ponytail) never tried to make eye contact, greet me, or acknowledge my presence. This is a nice place for Happy Hour any day of the week. 2 appetizers for $8 is a steal. In celebration of Cinco de Mayo $3.50 margaritas were added to the Happy Hour specials. The atmosphere is casual and there are options for both outdoor and indoor seating. The servers are friendly and there is a lobster tank where you can try your luck at winning a live lobster. I enjoyed the shrimp cocktail and loaded potato skins. The shrimp were plump and succulent. The potato skins were well-dressed with toppings. I've been to Ricky's at least four times now. I meet a group of friends here on Thursday nights. I've tried the Chicken Caesar Salad and the dressing has the right balance of saltiness from the anchovies and tartness from the citrus and the grilled chicken adds another element to make it an overall winner. I think this was a one time incident due to new kitchen staff, but the first time I ordered this dish, I was given horseradish sauce rather than Caesar dressing, which caused me to wait for another order to be made. Been there several times. Other times were great, but this time was jorrible Walked into a nearly empty restaurant at about 5 PM, maybe 10 people. 1 table of family 6 and the others at bar. We ordered a water, soda, appetizer and 2 sandwiches which we asked to come at same time. The waitress brought the drinks, yet she wasn't sure if it was water or soda (yes it was dark and glasses where red, but really? . We waited and waited for 30 min. I was looking for a local spot with something yummy for lunch and decided to peruse Yelp. I came across Ricky's in Apollo beach which isn't to far and somewhere I never tried. It is situated in a shopping center. When I walked in it was VERY dark and unfortunately I was the only one wearing a mask. However, I got my order to go and was VERY pleased! The club sandwich was monstrous and very delicious! The fries were perfectly cooked (very important) and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his chicken club (so much so that I couldn't get a pic before he devoured half of it). I would definitely return and recommend!

Wings were good. I ordered 20 which were supposed to cost $17.50, well the bartender Luke charged me $35 for 20 wings. Plus i gave him a fat tip. I didn't realize the rip off until after I left. Bar was empty so low chance of it being an accident. I am way too nice to people. A bodybuilder with 20 inch biceps should not be getting swindled by a bro with a dad bod.

Went to Ricky's randomly and Luke was awesome as a bartender. What a great neighborhood bar, like Cheers where everyone knew each other's name. Great hidden gem

The wings here are the best you'll find! Be sure to try them Rick's way. They fry the wings first and then finish them off on the grill.

The food and service were excellent! The wings were fantastic and perfectly cooked. We will definitely come back!
