When I walked in on a weekday, I was sort of surprised to find this place as busy as it was. A (friendly) waitress told me there was no table available for me. A man (seemingly the owner, though not sure) overheard this from a distance and pointed out to the waitress that I could be seated in a back-section of the restaurant, that was apparently reserved for invited guests and the owner’s family. I had the house made Frikandellen-Jager option with fries, and was not disappointed. Nothing sophisticated, but nice food for a fair price. actually one of our favorites! bad food best quality and a dreamlike salatsosse! homemade frikadellen are the secret tip. in the summer you sit very comfortably out, when it is cooler, a nicely decorated dining room invites you.
