we were in september in the rieslingscheune. at the beginning we sat on the small terrace and had the sun shined in the face. when it was cooler we moved our place inside. in the shade the atmosphere is very cozy: old stone walls, wooden, various wooden chairs, candles. .my man and I both ate an salad plate. very tasty....mhhh the sauce. besides salate there are also carvings, rumpsteak, flaky cake, hand cheeses, home maker etc. as it is a weingut, there is own wein. but also bier is offered. the selection is plentiful and the nice service has helped us in the selection. we can only recommend a visit.
we have been here several times: the wine is good, the food has always tasted us well. parking spaces are available on the road sufficient, to be necessary you have to walk a few steps. the stairs go up to the restaurant because the heu was stored under the roof. my personal highlights of the menu: wildsülze and Swiss sausage salad, both with bratkartoffeln, the kitchen can really be good here. our ladies like the salads and the flame cake. the service is usually attentive. the noise is also at full house bearable: has to do with the speciality of the high dach, I guess.
here it is just cozy. one sits in the built-up roof floor, despite many people it is not loud. very good wein - not only riesling. one should try and take a bottle. the food offer is absolutely wide fanned - from wild over fish to carving - great salads and vegetarian dishes. the service and the kitchen also have no fears of special - it is super here. parking is a bit difficult only a few places in the hof. in the adjacent roads you will find a place.
we were three times in the scrubbing barn, because on Mondays in the rheingau almost everything else has to be done.Dinners with exposed work beams and cercs, it was almost romantic.Very nice and attentive service!We have eaten cordon bleu with bratkartoffels and flaky cakes with pears and ceremonies, which was a delicious choice. the warm goat cheese on salat was sensational, as was the flammkuchen 'elsässer art' - to the hineinknien!Main dishes: tasty bratkartoffeln - the homemade 'cordon bleu' crooked out a bit on the teller - there is still a bit of a place up at the size....Tolle atmosphere and a beautiful evening - recommended to come back!
we have made good experience in the sprinkle shrub.in a beautiful ambiente we have eaten tasty and it is for everyone something on the menu.The in-house weeping well and we could also taste in the vinothek the one or other wee.How good we could cover ourselves for home.
