Rifugio Terzo Alpini

we've been on an exploring enduro ride arround bardonecchia and found this rifugio for a lunch. the tight valley is not what we call an enduro heaven, cause it's more like a quiet place to relax, walking and fishing. so we decided to stop for a lunch at terzo alpini. we had formaggio, polenta, salsiccia and the cervo. the meal were really tasty and the ladies in service were so friendly, we were so exited and happy. for sure, we'll come back. sorry for the bad english.., we're swiss guys ;

A pure happiness that this walk in the narrow valley and discover this small hamlet nestled in the valley. You can make a stop in the refuges... with reservation... and also eat in the small restaurant if there is place. In short, departure of some beautiful ballades in the middle of this flourishing countryside.

Comfortable refuge with hot showers and relatively small rooms. The service is great and the food was delicious and served in ample sizes. They serve local italian food. Affordable price.
