If you're wondering, Rincon Criollo is a Cuban restaurant. The name caught me off guard at first, but it didn't matter. I was pleasantly surprised by this place! After our cruise, we had a late flight and wanted to avoid eating at the airport, so we had some extra time to explore. The restaurant is conveniently located just outside the airport car rental return. I highly recommend it if you’re staying at nearby hotels or have some time before your flight and want a meal without any rush. We tried the empanadas, a Cuban sandwich, and chicken, and my wife especially enjoyed the chicken soup. The staff was attentive and friendly, which made our visit even better.
This place is extremely authentic. We were staying down the street at the Staybridge for two weeks on a business trip, which is how we found the place. Half the staff does not speak English, but they work with you and make it easy to order if you are notcomfortable with Spanish. We ate here several times during our stay for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's a very casual place.Prices are fair and food is consistently good.
I must highlight that this cozy little place, Rincon Criollo, is the epitome of authentic Cuban dining. The ambiance transports you to a typical Cuban street—at least, that’s how I fondly remember it. The women behind the bar were lively and friendly, making you feel right at home. If you want to experience the warmth of being part of a local neighborhood while enjoying some tasty snacks, this is the ideal spot.
This is a fantastic spot for a quick meal! The service is fast and friendly, and it's conveniently located near the airport. I even saw several local Uber and Lyft drivers hanging out there just for coffee. The chorizo parrillada was excellent, and I had to try the empanadas, which were also very tasty. I'll definitely return when I'm back in Miami. Thank you!

Our shuttle driver recommended this great local restaurant so we walked there after checking into our hotel and enjoyed a delicious meal! We didn?t know what to order as we?d not had Cuban food before, so our lovely waitress pointed to her favouriteson the menu (we couldn?t speak each other?s language) and we loved what we received! Highly recommend!
When we asked for the bill, we noticed they charged us for items we never ordered, totaling over $10 more than expected. To make matters worse, they added a tip without our consent, which we only realized after leaving. It feels deceptive and unfair. Please think twice before choosing to dine here!
A short, 5 minutes, walk from the hotel. Try the carnitas and a side rice and beans. They bake and shread the pork. Moist and tasty. Very good ???? The service was great. I would have taken a picture of the carnitas but it looked so good, I couldn't waitto eat ????
This restaurant is not only very budget-friendly, but the food is also delicious. The kids really enjoyed the Cubanos, and my flank steak was excellent. The flan and tres leches were both wonderful as well. I’ll definitely return if I’m in the area again.
