Rincon De Galicia

I have not been to this place for a while and I had good memories from past visits. The price of the mid-day menu has increased and the food was just mediocre, at best. Small portions. That would all be ok for 12,90 being 50m from the beach (without seeing it), but the slow service and bad coordination of the waiters made it a not very pleasant experience. Desperately trying for 10min to just pay and leave, while there are 20 people waiting in a line outside for a table. Bad management apparently, not recommended during high season.

We've been here twice in 3 days. Once on a Sunday noon (had to wait about 15 minutes to get a table) and once on a Tuesday night. The food is excellent, especially seafood. The menus are great and you can (and should) order only 2 menus for 3 people. You get assorted appetizers (the pulpo a la gallega is impressive), a main dish (today I asked for grateen cod) and dessert. Will definitely come again.

We had one amazing lunch at Rincon de Galicia, but two days later it was below average. All because of the waiters. First day we were explained all about the menu, the fresh fish etc and the food and the services was amazing. Today the waiter just believed that we would like the cheapest menu, did not have time to listen and gave us not what we ordered. Not a very nice experience.

Era un menú fijo. no tienen nada más. Siempre es lo mismo entre semana y fin de semana o noche, variar el precio. Lo recordé bien, pero me convencí. asombroso el arroz con el tazón y el trato, maravilloso!

Stopped here for a few gin and tonics, they speak good English and they have outdoor seating. We did not eat/see the food.
