Los restaurantes en España siempre están muy concurridos los domingos y este no fue la excepción. Lo primero que notamos fue que una pareja española que llegó después que nosotros recibió su comida y bebida antes de que el camarero incluso tomara nuestra orden. Luego se olvidó de traernos la ensalada que suele ser parte de un menú del día cuando sí nos trajo las bebidas. La comida estaba demasiado cocida y esperamos bastante tiempo para que el camarero retirara los platos del plato principal. Nos dimos cuenta de que el menú es una forma económica de comer y quizás hubiéramos hecho mejor eligiendo de la carta. En general, fue decepcionante. We came across this restaurant one evening, had a very enjoyable meal, cant remeber what hubby had but I had a spainish omelete, for something so simple if was delicious, so we decided to go back the following evening and try the chicken paella, we enquired if we could add chorizo to it and that was no problem, We both thoroughly enjoyed it. We met the owner Manual who was extremely friendly, and Tanya one of the waitresses who was lovely and helpful. When we arrived the 2nd night we were remembered by them both. Hicimos una parada aquí para comer mientras visitábamos Santa Pola en un día nublado. No había mucha gente alrededor y elegimos este restaurante porque el menú tenía un poco más de variedad que algunos de los otros lugares que habíamos pasado. Pedí un agua sin gas y un Americano para beber y una tortilla española para comer. La comida estaba bastante buena y el servicio era amable y eficiente. Lo único negativo fue cuando visité el baño y vi un gran insecto muerto en el suelo. Todo lo demás parecía limpio e higiénico, pero esto me desanimó. No estoy seguro de si volvería a visitar este lugar.
En un día soleado caminamos por la playa de Santa Pola. Estaba muy ocupado y difícil conseguir una mesa fuera de cualquier lugar. Santa Pola tiene muchos lugares para comer y tenemos nuestros favoritos, sin embargo, ya que había una mesa disponible nos sentamos. La comida era muy pobre considerando que no era barata. Incluso nos sorprendió que la ensalada rusa, que esperamos en todas partes de España, fuera terrible y el chorizo en vino tinto inedible. Esto tiene una posición privilegiada y no debe confiar en el negocio de repetición. ¡Evite!

Arrived late one evening in santa pola and only place available at 10pm to eat with family of five.... meat and salads were excellent and family enjoyed, whilst we did not try the tapas most of the other people were sticking to the tapas which seemed popular. I had the paella which at best was ok... too much salt and portion of two at best would feed one....service was not the greatest... the family would go back I will not be going back in hurry
It was so awful I can't be bothered to go into detail but when the daily menu is 15 euros and the other restaurants on the same strip are 11.50, we thought it might actually be better! WRONG. The starter of calamari was bland, but the paella was just a few shells and bits of fish swimming in wet rice. Afterwards we discovered lots of new restaurants overlooking the harbour hope to try one this instead on the next visit.
Fui con mi familia y amigos para almorzar. Nada fue realmente bueno. Tal vez fui desafortunada de visitar en un mal día. El personal era amable pero muy lento, no se entendía el inglés y la comida estaba muy por debajo de un promedio bajo. Precios bien si la comida hubiera estado bien pero no lo era.
Avoid this restaurant at all costs Service is appalling and the food is even worse Please do not patronize this restaurant if you want value for money with nicely cooked food. There is not enough room to tell my story but be warned.

The owner serves as waiter, so really cares. He does a good seafood paella, tasty fresh anchovies and is friendly and attentive. Good wine.
El menú del día y el paea son realmente buenos. Algunos platos son un poco caros. Las porciones son lo suficientemente grandes.
